Andorite is an uncommon sulphosalt mineral, usually dark grey and massive. It is mostly recorded from analysis of silver ores. Andorite has been split into two distinct species, andorite IV and Andorite VI.
Selected Australian Occurrences:
- From the Pearce North prospect, Mineral Hill, New South Wales.
- From silver mines in the Benambra and Omeo areas of Victoria.
