Baileychlore is a rare green chlorite mineral with a fibrous habit.

Selected Australian Occurrences:

• As dark green rims on calcite veins from a drill hole at the Red Dome Mine, Queensland (Type Locality).
• An unusual occurrence in peat at Grieves Siding, western Tasmania.
